A menace to opponents at the net and on the service line in 2017-18, McMaster middle Maicee Sorensen (Hamilton, ON) joined elite company Thursday, being named as a First Team All-Canadian at the All-Canadian Gala in Quebec.

Two of the foremost members of McMaster's now-historic men's volleyball dynasty, hitters Andrew Richards (London, ON) and Brandon Koppers (Georgetown, ON) added another honour to their collection Thursday at the All-Canadian Breakfast Presented by RBC.

Bidding to repeat as OUA champions, the Marauders ran into the form team of the season in their home gym Saturday, and fell at the final hurdle.

With their place in OUA history secured, the Marauders arrive at the U SPORTS Championship tournament on home court Friday as the fifth seed, reprising their role from a season ago.
